(NOCROSS-GA)-August 5, 2019- Zodiac Data Systems Inc, now a subsidiary of the international company Safran Aerosystems, has opened their new office in the City of Norcross at 3005 Business Park Drive. This $500,000 expansion move will significantly enlarge their service capability as they grow from a 7,500 square foot area to 20,000 square feet.
Jeff Huggins, CEO of the American subsidiary, says that this location was particularly convenient for several reasons. The expansion facilitates new partnerships with local subcontractors and suppliers which will enable the company to reduce costs and shorten delivery times. Norcross is also highly accessible for current and prospective employees. Zodiac Data Systems Inc estimates the new operations will require 31 additional employees, with 20 working at the Norcross location and 11 in customer support across the country.
The current location under development was also chosen for its capacity for an ideal building configuration, the optimal price per square foot, as well as its excellent proximity to restaurants and hotels. The qualified workforce and strong business community found in Norcross were highly marketable characteristics for the expansion.
Zodiac Data Systems Inc, which has been in operation for 40 years, joined with Safran Aerosystems in February 2018 to become one of the largest aerospace companies globally.
